Column Chromatography Separation (Sep-Pak C-18)
Chromatography is a common technique to purify a pharma product. It’s how we break down a complex mixture into a single material. In this demonstration, we’ll use a mini chromatography column, the Sep-Pak C-18, to separate the red and blue dyes in grape soda.

What is measuring the absorbance of the light by the sample worth for? What important information does that give?
09:57 "cfu ...is a presumed single bacterium, yeast, fungal spore..." etc. This is incorrect. A cfu is that which gives rise to a single colony after prescribed incubation temperatures and duration. It may be a single cell, single spore, single endospore etc. However, it also may be a clump of cells, spores, etc.
